Any email address that's in your Yahoo Address Book will not get put into your bulk folder. So make sure you add the email address that will be sending you the survey info to your Address Book at http://address.yahoo.com

That will let you set up pop 3 email and fix a bad one.

Reply:The first answer is correct how to open a new account, However, the problem is not your e mail ....is your spam settings. For every spam you received don't just deleted them ...click on spam button to classified the sender as spam.
Otherwise, it will continue to send you junk mail.
You can also set up you account to received mail only from know user or only from your Contact list. You just have to check your spam folder for know addresses and listed them as non spam..
Read your account setting for more information

I personally like gmail for these different addresses because they don't delete emails for inactivity if you don't check them every month or something.

I use yahoo mail too. What you want to do is use the Forward button. Then type into the new recipent e-mail address (your other e-mail account) and click send.

Not sure what exactly the error message is so it's very hard to determine the cause.
Basically, you have to make sure the email service support at least 1 of POP3 or IMAP, these 2 protocols, then you have to get the outgoing server, and incoming server address in the server tab of each email account setup correct, other thing is secondary because for a email service to be popular, the provider will make it simple to setup, even the password or username is incorrect, you will be prompted for a new set when downloading email from the connected server.

Basically, you have to make sure the email service support at least 1 of POP3 or IMAP, these 2 protocols, then you have to get the outgoing server, and incoming server address in the server tab of each email account setup correct, other thing is secondary because for a email service to be popular, the provider will make it simple to setup, even the password or username is incorrect, you will be prompted for a new set when downloading email from the connected server.

Different things seem to work for different people. Can I have my emails forwarded from a email account I want to close to my new email account?
I am unable to stay logged on to my current email account. If I can log on the system shuts me down. This is only happening with my account. My family has atleast 3 other yahoo accounts and it is not affecting theirs. I created a new account for myself with yahoo. If your old email Yahoo! id is still valid, then sign on to Yahoo! with that id and then go to this site:

Export your Y! bookmarks to an IE format file.
Sign out of your old id. Sign in with you current Yahoo! id and go to the above site and click Import.

I'm shutting one email down and would like to transfer or import all of my existing contacts from one email address to another.

Open the two email accounts in separate windows. Go to Contacts on each one and manually add the contacts to the new email. I've done it before. When you're done, shut down the old email.

From the new, Contacts %26gt; Import. Browse to the Desktop %26amp; select the CSV.
All e-adds will be moved into the new book - en mass.

do not afraid of hackers. unless they have physical access to your computer or they send you some file which you try to download or open they cannot harm you. make sure that person doesnt even touch your computer and also make sure you do not open anything which he gives . that is enough. that person can in no way hack your account

If u want to give up yahoo
u need to delete entire account
visit Account Deletion page.
https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_use...
u will be asked to sign in to or verify ur
password for the account u wish to delete.
after the deletion process is initiated,
ur account can never be recovered.

Stay out of your account for 4 months and yahoo will delete due to inactivity
